This design concept is for The Girard Hotel, a fictional historic boutique hotel. I was very much inspired by the elegance of The Shining’s Overlook Hotel (minus all the ghosts, of course). Ever since visiting its real-life inspiration, The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, CO, I’ve been dying to work on a hotel branding project like this. The Girard’s branding is glamorous and a bit mysterious, blending heavy art deco influences with modern design trends.
